Plastic Surgeon

Duties and Responsibilities

Plastic Surgeons specialize in repairing damaged skin, fix facial bone structure, and recunstructing birth defects. They examine and diagnose deformities caused by accidents, diseases, or abnormalities. They perform surguries on patients to either correct or enhance or restore certain features. Lastly, they run and order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications and treatment.

$363,555 - $407, 709

Education

In order to pursue this career, you will need to complete 4 years of under graduate school, complete pre medical courses such as biology, physics, and chemistry. You will need to complete an additional 4 years of medical school to earn an (M.D), or a (D.O). Residency must be completed, lasting 5 years. You will need to be licensed and certified by the (ABPS), or the (AOBS).

Demand for Career

This career is needed for those who need to recover from extensive damage. These physicians can help accident victims or any imperfections caused by a disease. 

Reflection

This career really fascinates me. I might purue this career, it is guranteed to be on my list of possible career paths.

While it mat be true that poverty can eventually be overcome, many out there do work hard and give it their all at what they do yet they still do not escape. There are two ways to work hard at something. Sometimes you get what you want, other times things remain the same. This quote can not always be held true. There is a key element that breaks this from being true, education. You can work hard all you want but not go far because of lack of an education. Without education your efforts will mean nothing.
