DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES An osteopathic physician focuses on the whole of a person. They treat, diagnose, and prescribe diseases and symptoms. They may also perform required surgeries. They practice medicine as a whole and work with all medical specialties.  SALARY $162, 908 - $236, 544 EDUCATION The minimum required to become an Osteopathic physician is three years of college and a Bachelor's degree or any other higher degree. GPA's must be as high as possible. Courses such as math, science, or overall should be as high as possible. DEMAND FOR CAREER This career is highly necessary when it comes to the medical field. These physicians are of assistance in all medical specialties. They prove themselves highly useful in any given situation.  REFLECTION This career does interest me. It does sound like something I would enjoy pursuing a career in. I will need to look into this career more in order to get further information. 

OPTOMETRY TECHNICIAN

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES An optometry technician works under the supervision and guidance of an optometrist while performing everyday tasks, such as eye examinations and vision corrections. They also maintain patient records handle technical duties involving equipment and eyeglass handling. Usually they prep patients with their medical history and examination process before the optometrist comes in. Under direction of an optometrist, he technicians can also perform therapy exercises, monitor inventory, and take notes during procedures.  SALARY $22, 260 EDUCATION Some areas require on the job training, other times, a formal training program will be necessary. You must pass an exam before getting licensed. You will need to get certified by the National Contact Lens Examiners and administered by the American Board of Opticianry.   CAREER DEMAND This career is necessary in order for optometrists to receive the assistance needed.
