Class Evaluation

  1. Things I liked about this class include how classwork is different. We never used any paper or did regular work. We only used computers. We basically reflected the entire semester. The work was different.
  2. Things I did not like about this class was the grading system. It was not fair that if you forgot your journal once or was absent your entire grade fell by over 5%. The teacher never allowed opportunities to make it up. If your grade did fall due to one of those accidents, the time to bring it back up was never sufficient. The student success statements were not as productive and they were not very amusing.
  3. I recommend allowing students to make up any points in the case that they forgot their journal or had a reasonable absence. The entire class grading system needs to change. He scored our things but never looked at them. I  recommend incorporating other life lessons besides choosing the right. Perhaps even do something else in class that isn't as repetitive.
  4. No, sometimes I am unable to complete daily entries. I do try to complete entries as often as I can. I find the journal very relaxing. It helps gather my thoughts and release them onto paper. The journal is a good idea.
  5. Yes, I am committed. I think being a good person and helping others out is important. It does good to think of others and not just yourself. Choosing the right will be something I incorporate into my life. It is important to spread positivity in order to better the world around us.
  6. I learned how to choose the right. I learned about the many factors of character and what it takes to be a better person for yourself and others. I will pass on those beliefs to any family members who are in need of reassurance. I learned how a simple act can really impact everything. Character and values play a big role in each individual.
  7. I will always remember the teacher. I have never had a teacher like him. He is someone who really believes in people and in them doing the right thing. He is a big encourage of allowing individuals to better themselves in order to be able to better everything else. His lessons and beliefs are not something to be forgotten.

Student Success Statement

''The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity, (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem.'' - Dr. Laura Shlessinger This quote is true. Usually when doing something that is right you never really get a physical reward. The satisfaction is internal since you yourself commited the act. At times there might not be any witnesses. Physical recognition comes for other reasons. When you acknowledge those factors, right truly will feel like a phenomenon. The feeling you get when doing right is like no other. That is the only feeling apart from all others. That sense of well being will not be caused by any thing else. Reward over moral is a great prize.
