I didn't do much for spring break. I mainly stayed home the entire time. Only one of those days really stood out. On Saturday I went to Universal Studios with my friend Nicole. We were there for a couple hours. My mom bought me the pass I wanted. I could not be happier to own this pass. Going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was the highlight of it all. During the break I also read Angela's Ashes, and I finally finished The Green Mile. Another thing I did over break was use my desktop. I playes SIMS . It wasn't very exciting but it did pass the time. I also spent time with my grandparents and aunts during the weekend. I celebrated easter and my grandma's birthday. I spent alot of time watching Pirates of the Caribean, criminal minds, that 70s show, and classis disney movies.

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT

'' I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and I can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard I want to work, and I decided that I would change it.'' - Dr. Ben Carson I do not really agree with this statement. While it mat be true that poverty can eventually be overcome, many out there do work hard and give it their all at what they do yet they still do not escape. There are two ways to work hard at something. Sometimes you get what you want, other times things remain the same. This quote can not always be held true. There is a key element that breaks this from being true, education. You can work hard all you want but not go far because of lack of an education. Without education your efforts will mean nothing. Education can be in many forms. Education is the real key to success, without it efforts will not do much good. At times poverty is not a choice, lack of education will forever hold a family down. While some may be lucky to mov...

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT

''They're only truly great who are truly good.'' - George Chapman You can define greatness if you first act out of good. In order to be good you must put others before you. The real greatness is not strength or reputation, it is the good acts committed. You can not be great if you are living with a soul purpose to wreck havoc and spread a negative mood.  For example, you cannot be great by bullying someone. Bullying is not a positive act. It is not a tolerable act in the eyes of good will. Greatness comes to those who are selfless and whom to not have a rotten heart. You cannot be greedy and selfish and attain greatness all at once. Where there is anything but pureness and good, there will never be an ounce of great.
