''Great beauty, great strength, and great riches are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all.'' - Benjamin Franklin

I can see where this quote is coming from. At times not all that seems to be desired leaves the powerful impact. Materialistic and idealistic views will not go far. How can you have beauty, riches, and strength but no morals? There is simply no way of making real progress or having an impact. In the end you will find that having a pure heart can leave a true lasting image. It leaves a positive impression that will mark a place of great remembrance. Having a heart can show a persons true intentions. Their heart reveals the real person within. For example, if you are perfect in every way but hold no heart, what good will you do? How far will it really take you? To hold a heart of gold is to hold the world in your hands. So much can be done when a heart is in its right place. The heart will exceed all in the end indeed. In order to do good, have a heart.

''The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity, (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem.'' - Dr. Laura Shlessinger This quote is true. Usually when doing something that is right you never really get a physical reward. The satisfaction is internal since you yourself commited the act. At times there might not be any witnesses. Physical recognition comes for other reasons. When you acknowledge those factors, right truly will feel like a phenomenon. The feeling you get when doing right is like no other. That is the only feeling apart from all others. That sense of well being will not be caused by any thing else. Reward over moral is a great prize.
