ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Orthopedic surgeons work within the muskuloskeletal  system. They treat and diagnose traumas, injuries, arthritis, and congenital deformities. They guide and record the patients medical history and procedures. They coordinate follow up meetings. They even book ORs and settle procedures.

SALARY

$512,000 - $519,000

EDUCATION

First they must receive a Bachelor's degree in biology or any other medical related field. They must complete 4 years of medical school. Followed by a 5 year residency program at a hospital. If any sub-specialties are desired, and extra 2 years of residency must be met.

DEMAND FOR CAREER

 This career is needed for the medical attention regarding the skeletal system. They focus on any bone related cases. Without them mending or attending to these specific issues would prove to be very difficult.

REFLECTION

I do not have a clear opinion on this career. I am not sure if  it even matches my interests on the type of career i would like to pursue.

Usually when doing something that is right you never really get a physical reward. The satisfaction is internal since you yourself commited the act. At times there might not be any witnesses. Physical recognition comes for other reasons. When you acknowledge those factors, right truly will feel like a phenomenon. The feeling you get when doing right is like no other. That is the only feeling apart from all others. That sense of well being will not be caused by any thing else. Reward over moral is a great prize.
