''What's  right isn't always popular. What's popular isn't always right.'' - Albert Einstein

I agree with this quote. Acts of pure good are not usually done. Usually it is the bad influences that are so commonly at the norm. People might not want to do good things because they may be afraid of judgement. They might think they will be seen as weak or too pure. Examples of popular things that aren't necessarily good is binge drinking. It is obviously not a safe or rational thing to do, yet, many people around the world continue to do so. Things are only popular because everyone is afraid of letting the good be shown. You never hear about people randomly doing acts of kindness unless its charity or funding. It is about time we let the good things in the world become that looked upon.   People who have willingly done something or given back when it wasn't called for should be the names to be known. Instead everyone knows the names of those who are irresponsible and engage in bad acts. That is simply how society has always been. As much as we wish to change it, it will not happen unless more people do good. Then again, it shouldn't mater if something is unpopular, do it if it is right or good.

''The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity, (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem.'' - Dr. Laura Shlessinger This quote is true. Usually when doing something that is right you never really get a physical reward. The satisfaction is internal since you yourself commited the act. At times there might not be any witnesses. Physical recognition comes for other reasons. When you acknowledge those factors, right truly will feel like a phenomenon. The feeling you get when doing right is like no other. That is the only feeling apart from all others. That sense of well being will not be caused by any thing else. Reward over moral is a great prize.

'' I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and I can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard I want to work, and I decided that I would change it.'' - Dr. Ben Carson I do not really agree with this statement. While it mat be true that poverty can eventually be overcome, many out there do work hard and give it their all at what they do yet they still do not escape. There are two ways to work hard at something. Sometimes you get what you want, other times things remain the same. This quote can not always be held true. There is a key element that breaks this from being true, education. You can work hard all you want but not go far because of lack of an education. Without education your efforts will mean nothing. Education can be in many forms. Education is the real key to success, without it efforts will not do much good. At times poverty is not a choice, lack of education will forever hold a family down. While some may be lucky to mov...
