''ENTHUSIASM MAKES THE DIFFERENCE''

Enthusiasm does make a difference. If you feel motivated for anything, then your action will not be a bore. If you hold a positive outlook, then anything will have a positive reaction. If you go into school feeling down and prepared to do nothing, then you will amount to nothing at the end of the day. Having a good mindset can take you a long way. I agree with the quote even if I myself am not very enthusiastic at times. Not only will you achieve your goals with enthusiasm, but you will attract others in a social aspect. People prefer someone energetic than to someone who is always blue. There really is a big difference between the negative and the positive. Be happy and the results will show. Put effort into every action you take. Try to limit the negativity in your life. Be enthusiastic by looking at the positive side. Think of the endless possibilities. Leave doubt behind. Keep moving foward with your head held high.

''The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity, (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem.'' - Dr. Laura Shlessinger This quote is true. Usually when doing something that is right you never really get a physical reward. The satisfaction is internal since you yourself commited the act. At times there might not be any witnesses. Physical recognition comes for other reasons. When you acknowledge those factors, right truly will feel like a phenomenon. The feeling you get when doing right is like no other. That is the only feeling apart from all others. That sense of well being will not be caused by any thing else. Reward over moral is a great prize.

''I have been asked what I mean by 'word of honor'. I will tell you: Place me behind prison walls- walls of stone ever so high, every so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground- there is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can I get out of that circle? No, never! I'd die first.'' - Karl G. Maeser I think this quote is very noble. It speaks of good character. The quality it takes is of the ultimate trust and loyalty. Yet, I can't help but disagree at its exaggeration. Trust and loyalty can only go so far and do so much. While it is true, having those qualities and being true to your word is incredible, it can not be the only action. For example, to die out of a promise seems extreme. There are many ways to fufill a promise and be a trustworthy person. Dying should not be considered. Staying true is one thin...
