Kennedy Statement

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT
''Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. Intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.'' - President John F. Kennedy

President Kennedy makes a point in this saying. If you are at a good health status, then you will have no other problems to worry over. When you are at good health, your capabilities are endless. If you are ill or not at the best shape, then you might have certain limitations. If you are a person who is not in good condition, you might have trouble enhancing your other skills such as intelligence. You can not go forward with something if it was never stable or capable. You have to be in a good or stable condition in order to grow properly and become a bright and ready mind. This statement speaks truth. Physical fitness pays a big role in a persons capability and growth. It is the key element to function for the body.

Student Success Statement

''The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity, (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem.'' - Dr. Laura Shlessinger This quote is true. Usually when doing something that is right you never really get a physical reward. The satisfaction is internal since you yourself commited the act. At times there might not be any witnesses. Physical recognition comes for other reasons. When you acknowledge those factors, right truly will feel like a phenomenon. The feeling you get when doing right is like no other. That is the only feeling apart from all others. That sense of well being will not be caused by any thing else. Reward over moral is a great prize.

'' I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and I can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard I want to work, and I decided that I would change it.'' - Dr. Ben Carson I do not really agree with this statement. While it mat be true that poverty can eventually be overcome, many out there do work hard and give it their all at what they do yet they still do not escape. There are two ways to work hard at something. Sometimes you get what you want, other times things remain the same. This quote can not always be held true. There is a key element that breaks this from being true, education. You can work hard all you want but not go far because of lack of an education. Without education your efforts will mean nothing. Education can be in many forms. Education is the real key to success, without it efforts will not do much good. At times poverty is not a choice, lack of education will forever hold a family down. While some may be lucky to mov...
